In June 2020, I released my first solo album Titled Melode 360, this collaborative project reflects my musical journey and features the talents of my dear friend Robin Cochrane, whose skill with African drums and percussion brings a unique touch. Together with other talented musicians from Sweden, we created an album that celebrates the vibrant spirit of reggae and African dancehall, all woven together with Persian lyrics.

Since then, my musical journey has continued to grow in new directions. I’m currently working with a wonderful group of independent artists and musicians from Iran, each bringing their own sound and creative voice to the project. Together, we’ve already released six singles, and we’re now working on two new EPs that I’m very excited to share soon.

What makes this project especially close to my heart is the people behind it. Some of these musicians helped shape Iran’s underground rock and alternative scene in the 1980s and ’90s, creating music at a time when doing so came with very real risks. Despite the restrictions they faced, they stayed true to their art and continued creating on their own terms. From the beginning, it was important to me to work with artists whose integrity and courage mean as much to me as their talent.
